Information Session for Spring 2024 Finance MBA Admission: Aspiring Finance Professionals

On September 15th, the Finance MBA program of Korea University Business School (Dean=Sang Yong Kim) hosted an admission information session at Room 202, Hyundai Motor Hall for the spring 2024 intake.  The information session included presentations on △ an introduction of Korea University Business School △ an overview of the Finance MBA program △student council △campus tour. 

The introduction of Korea University Business School and the Finance MBA program was led by Professor Bumjean Sohn, the Academic Director of the program. Professor Sohn emphasized, “The Finance MBA program actively reflects recent trends within the financial sector while providing a well-rounded curriculum that covers all aspects of finance.” He recommended, “I encourage you to enter the Finance MBA program with clear goals, as it offers substantial benefits.” He then elaborated on the distinctive educational curriculum, which includes features such as an overseas field trip, financial practicum lectures, a partnership with the CFA program, a student exchange program, a dual-degree program, and the Renaissance program. 

During the session, several finance professors, including Professors Woochan Kim, Joonghyuk Kim, Taejin Kim, Heebum Lee, and Joon Ho Hwang, were present to deliver their greetings. 

Afterward, Mr. Woong Lee, the President of the Finance MBA Student Council introduced various aspects of campus life, including events, clubs, and gatherings.

The information session concluded with a campus tour of KUBS’s buildings.  The application period for the Finance MBA program for the spring 2024 intake is from September 18th to October 13th.
