Information Session for Spring 2024 Executive MBA Admission: Pathway to Global CEOs
On September 15th, the Executive MBA program of Korea University Business School (Dean=Sang Yong Kim) hosted admission information sessions for the spring 2024 intake simultaneously online and offline. The online session was aired via YouTube Live, while the offline session took place at the Young-Il Ahn Hall of the LG-POSCO Hall, attended by pre-registered attendees. The information session included presentations on △ an introduction of Korea University Business School △ an overview of the Executive MBA program △student council and clubs △admission procedures and schedules △a Q&A session.
The introduction of Korea University Business School and the Executive MBA program was led by Professor Shijin Yoo, the Academic Director of the program. Professor Yoo emphasized the program’s mission, stating, "The Executive MBA program aims to cultivate creative global CEOs who lead sustainable growth and innovation." He highlighted the program’s unique module-based teaching approach. He elaborated on the diverse range of courses designed to adapt to the rapidly evolving business and industrial landscape. The program features a distinctive educational curriculum focused on nurturing global CEOs, with offerings such as 'CEO Special Topics,' 'ELITE Project,' 'International Residency Program (IRP),' and 'Junior SMART Camp.' The Junior SMART Camp, held biennially, provides a campus tour, business lectures, group activities, and more for the teenage children of the Executive MBA students and alumni.
Subsequently, members of the Executive MBA Student Council introduced various events and group activities.
