Information Session for Spring 2024 Korea MBA Admission: Career Jump Up!

On September 12th and 14th, the Korea MBA program of Korea University Business School (Dean=Sang Yong Kim) hosted admission information sessions for the spring 2024 intake. The session on the 12th was targeted at domestic applicants, while the session on the 14th was directed towards international applicants applicants who are currently working in Korea. These information sessions included presentations on △an introduction of Korea University Business School △an overview of the Korea MBA program △student council and clubs △admission procedures and schedules △a Q&A session. 

The introduction of Korea University Business School and the Korea MBA program was led by Professor Tai Gyu Kim, the Academic Director of the program. Professor Kim presented the vision of the Korea MBA, stating, "Korea MBA aims to nurture future global leaders who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, with a focus on mid-level managers and working professionals in various industries." Additionally, he shared insights about the distinctive educational curriculum of the Korea MBA, which emphasizes a holistic approach to tackling business challenges. This curriculum encompasses a wide range of courses designed to address the rapidly evolving business and industrial landscape. It also offers unique opportunities such as an overseas field trip, a student exchange program, a dual-degree program, and the Renaissance program.  

During the information session on September 12th, Mr. Ilkyun Chung, the Senior Vice President of the Korea MBA Student Council, introduced various student council events, clubs, and group activities. He also emphasized the strengths of the Korea MBA alumni network, which is renowned for its longstanding tradition and the strong bonds shared among alumni and current students.
