1. Professor Hyun Seok Lee 

At the “2023 Korean Production and Operations Management Spring Academic Competition” held on May 12th, Professor Hyun Seok Lee, who teaches in LSOM, was honored with the “5th Yoomin Lee Sangmoon Emerging Production and Operations Management Scholar Award.” This prestigious award is granted biennially to scholars who have showcased exceptional research accomplishments and academic contributions in the field of operations management.  

Furthermore, Professor Lee’s research paper has been published in esteemed business journals including Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management.  

2. Associate Dean Janghyuk Lee 

Associate Dean Janghyuk Lee, who teaches in marketing, assumed responsibility for the regional session of the GAIC 2023 (Global Alternative Investment Conference) held on May 25th. The conference, titled “Alternative Investments, Rethinking Strategies,” took place at The Plaza Hotel. After a presentation on “Developed Country Investments Beyond Contraction and Stagnation,” Associate Dean Lee proceeded to moderated a panel debate. The panelists included CIO Hoon Lee ofrom KIC, CIO Juhyun Baek from the Government Employees Pension Service, Managing Director Yongsuk Bae from Hanhwa Asset Management, and Partner Robert Browell from PwC.
