The Mentoring Day event for the spring semester of the 2022 of Korea University Business School was held for three days from May 18 (Wed) to 20 (Fri). Due to COVID-19, 30 professors and 43 undergraduates attended the Mentoring Day event online, and each student accessed the small meeting room of each advisor and worked as a group. Foreign students from business schools also participated and proved to be a global business school.

Dean Johngseok Bae said, "90% of large companies prefer students of science and engineering departments, and in particular, those with field experience, therefore employment has changed a lot from before," adding, "I hope you will make good use of the programs organized by grade and cycle hosted by Career Development Center." In addition, he explained the new detailed track system to the business school in 2021, and then introduced the newly planted trees and artist Lee Woo-hwan's artworks in front of the Business Main Building to students, saying, "I hope you can foster your social imagination, experiencing extraordinariness in ordinary."

"It's finally time to experience the spring and festival of universities free from the COVID-19 era and an opportunity to enjoy college life," Associate Dean Jaeuk Chun said. "University life is a privilege that only college students can feel, so I hope they can enjoy college life through festivals as well as studies." He then added, "Although the meeting was limited due to COVID-19, I hope to meet students offline from next semester."

In each advisor's small meeting room, the professors were free with sympathy and encouragement, citing their undergraduate years as an example. In addition, the event ended in a comfortable atmosphere, advising, "I hope you will have a college life without regrets when you look back."

Meanwhile, Advisor Mentoring Day has been introduced in 2007 to help business school students share the difficulties of school life with others, meet with their advisor, listen to various advice on studies and careers, and form a network through exchanges. KUBS is generously supporting students to get realistic help from their college and life seniors.
