KUBS Career development center (hereafter CDC) was awarded grand prize at National brands awards (NBA) 2014. CDC has won grand prize at NBA two years in a row. The event was held at Lotte Hotel Sogongdong Seoul.
KUBS CDC is the only career development center in Korea that provides integrated career service to undergraduates, MS/Ph.D, and MBA students. CDC has been guaranteeing successful employment for students and recommending talented students to firms.
Most remarkable service is the mentoring program. As KUBS is well known for its broad network, mentoring program generates a place where professors, students and alumni communicate with each other. ‘Professor-student mentoring’ allow students to discuss their studies, career, etc. Students are also given chances to meet with graduates that work in the field where those students are willing to work in. Alumni consult students with their career and students sometimes get chances to be involved in internship or overseas training.
CDC will be increase coaching time for individual students to provide better service from this year. Dean Doohee Lee said “KUBS strives to train students to become global leaders through CDC. We will invest much to help our students with their dreams.”
