Students and School Management meet in person to discuss various issues
The ‘1st KUBS Communication Forum’ aimed at strengthening ties and communication between students and the school was held on February 1st at the Cuckoo Hall of the LG POSCO Building.
Organized by the 43rd KUBS Student Council ‘Sanggakdaero K’, the forum was attended by over 30 KUBS students, Dean Hasung jang, Associate Dean Jonhngseok Bae and staff from the KUBS administration office.
President of the KUBS Student Council, Jo-eun Park said “After being elected President, I was able to meet with the Dean, Associate Dean, and the staff. I learned about all the efforts they were making for the students through our talks. We planned this event because we wanted to create a venue where the various stakeholders of KUBS could come together to talk, share and communicate.
The student representatives from the different KUBS organizations, classes and clubs raised various in-school issues such as lack of space due to the construction of the New Business Building, lack of support for student clubs and improving the course registration system.
Dean of KUBS, Hasung Jang responded “The school is continuously thinking of and exploring ways to more efficiently support the various activities carried out by the student-run clubs and associations. We need everyone’s patience with regard to the problem of lack of space caused by the construction of the New Business Building. I ask for your cooperation.”
Min-young Kim (Business Administration 07) who attended the event said “I usually have a lot of questions regarding the school management. The event was very productive because I could personally ask the school officials questions and get answers.”
The KUBS Student Council plans to increase exchanges between the school and students by regularly holding the ‘KUBS Communication Forum’ twice a year.
