Korea University (KU) selected as a ‘world-class business school’…number one in Korea

‘Eduniversal’ a global institution that specializes in business school evaluation has selected Korea University Business School (KUBS) as the most recommendable school in Korea after evaluating top-notch business schools by country. The results are from a survey (conducted from 2008 to March of 2009) of over 1000 deans from business schools around the world. Reports on the survey results were covered by various media which included Donga Ilbo, Chosun Ilbo, and the Financial News.

Korea University Business School (KUBS) ranked 1st in Korea for ‘school to recommend’
- Survey of 1000 deans from global business schools
1000 deans of business schools from around the world took part in a survey conducted by Eduniversal, the global business school evaluation institution. According to the survey results, KUBS ranked 1st among Korean schools in the category for ‘school to recommend’.
According to the announcement by KUBS on the 16th, Eduniversal asked 1000 deans from international business schools to ‘recommend a business school to someone who wishes to study business management.’ As a result, KUBS ranked 1st in Korea with 283 recommendations. Seoul National University ranked 2nd (271 recommendations), KAIST ranked 3rd (252 recommendations) and Yonsei University ranked 4th (178 recommendations). The survey was conducted from November, 2008 to March, 2009 and multiple answers were allowed. In the 2008 survey, KAIST ranked 1st (300 recommendations) followed by Korea University (288 recommendations), Seoul National University (287 recommendations) and Yonsei University (158 recommendations).
