/ Presentation Competition scheduled for October 29th at SUPEX Hall/
The KUBS Student Council is holding ‘the 2nd KUBS Business Idea Competition’ which brings together students from Korea University to find innovative business ideas.
This year, unlike last year, the competition was open to the entire KU student body, not limited to KUBS students.
Sei-in Park (Business Administration 06), President of the KUBS Student Council, said “We organized the competition so that students would have a chance to express their ideas by giving them an opportunity to start a business. With students from other colleges participating this year, we expect to see diverse ideas from both business and non-business perspectives.”
The student council will receive business plans via email until October 23 and conduct the first paper-screening process before selecting the five final teams. The selected teams will be judged on their presentations delivered at the SUPEX Hall of the LG-POSCO Hall on October 29 at 6pm. Venture capitalists currently working at Citi Bank, Kookmin Bank, Hana Daetoo Securities, and Merrill Lynch will serve as judges. The winning team with the best idea will be awarded.
