Program personally designed by students from the 1st batch of S³ Asia MBA
As part of their field trip, 20 MBA students from the National University of Singapore (NUS), a prestigious Asian school, visited KUBS on the morning of September 24.
In his remarks to the visiting students, Jinbae Kim, the Associate Dean of KUBS MBA, said “We welcome you to KUBS which boasts the longest history and tradition among Korean universities. I hope that the lectures and company visits will provide you with the chance to understand the Korean management system.”
During their visit, students attended a lecture by Professor Jaehwan Kim titled “The marketing strategy of Korean firms” and wrapped up their visit with a tour of the KU campus including visits to the Centennial Memorial Hall and Main Square.
Priyanka Mehrotra, a NUS-MBA student, said “I was impressed by the state-of-the-art education infrastructure that KUBS had established to foster global talent. In the lecture, the detailed analysis on the marketing practices of Korea was very interesting.” The students will visit companies such as SK headquarters, IBK, and Hana Financial Group and will leave Korea on November 25.
Dae-young Lee and Han-na Choi from the 1st class of S³ Asia MBA? a program jointly established by Fudan University of China, National University of Singapore and Korea University?who are spending their last semester in Singapore planned the overall field trip including the visits to the school and companies.
