A welcoming event for KUBS foreign exchange students was held on September 3rd at 5 pm at the Ahn Youngil Hall of the LG-POSCO Hall, with over 70 students in attendance.
With the increasing number of foreign exchange students, the welcoming event was organized to build friendships between exchange students and KUBS students and to provide information to exchange students so that they can quickly adapt to school life.
The event kicked off with an introduction to the foreign exchange student club KU-IBC (KU International Business Club). It was followed by a quiz event on KU life and an overview of internship programs by global Korean companies available to foreign exchanges students.
Johhgseok Bae, the Associate Dean of KUBS said “KUBS has an active network with exchange students from around the globe. I hope you have a great school life here with friends from around the world.”
Federico Sguazzini from Bocconi University of Italy said “I had a great time with friends from all over the world. Through the event, I was able to get a lot of information about life in Korea and the KU culture of which I was not familiar with.”
