CEO Beom-moo Hur of Gownet Co., Ltd. Donates 100 Million Won

Mr. Beom-moo Hur, CEO of Gownet Co., Ltd., Donates 100 Million Won to the KUBS Development Fund 

On Thursday, August 22nd, at 11 a.m., Korea University (President: Dong-One Kim) held a donation ceremony for “Mr. Beom-moo Hur’s Contribution to the Korea University Business School (KUBS) Development Fund” at the President’s Office in the main building. 

CEO Beom-moo Hur, a graduate of the Korea MBA program at Korea University Business School (85th class) and current President of the MBA Alumni Association, has been a dedicated supporter of Korea University since 2017, consistently donating to the KU Pride Club Fund and the KUBS Development Fund. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Korea University MBA Business Award in 2021. 

During the donation ceremony, CEO Hur stated, "When I started my business, I attended Korea University’s MBA program to deepen my understanding of business. I received a lot of support from the professors at that time and wanted to give back." He added, “My daughter is currently enrolled in Korea University’s MBA program too. I hope that, through their studies at KUBS, she and many other students will grow into future leaders.” 

In response, President Dong-One Kim of Korea University expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank CEO Hur for his continuous support of Korea University’s development.” He continued, “We will use the KUBS Development Fund, generously donated by CEO Hur, to help our students grow into innovative talents who contribute to the global society.”
