Course Registration for 2023-1 MBA Alumni Renaissance Program

Korea University Business School hosts the ‘MBA Alumni Renaissance Program’ for MBA alumni to keep continuous competitiveness in a rapidly changing global business environment. All KUBS MBA alumni can register major elective courses in Korea MBA program for 5 years after graduation. A course certificate will be issued depending on attendance rate and assignment participation so we ask for your interest and participation.

▶ General Renaissance Course Registration

• Eligibility: MBA Alumni within 5 years after graduation

• Courses: Korea MBA major elective courses (2023-1 Renaissance program timetable attached)

• Class size: 5 students per course (first-come-first-served basis)

• If there are more than 5 applicants, up to 10 applicants will be added to the waitlist. We will individually contact applicants on the waitlist if a registered applicant cancels the course

• Tuition fee: 150,000 Won for 1.5 credits, 300,000 for 3 credits

▶ Renaissance Course Registration for 2020-1 Enrolled student (Free course available for 3 years after graduation)

• Eligibility: 2020-1 MBA enrolled students

• Courses: Korea MBA major electives, major common, major requirement (Except for specialized courses / 2023-1 Renaissance program timetable attached)

• Class size: 5 students per course (Separate TO assigned)

• If there are more than 5 applicants, up to 10 applicants will be added to the waitlist. We will individually contact applicants on the waitlist if a registered applicant cancels the course

• Tuition fee: Free up to 2 courses per semester (More than 3 courses require first-come-first-served basis courses registration with general Renaissance applicants and donation / 150,000 Won for 1.5 credits, 300,000 for 3 credits)

1. Course Registration

• Period: 2023. 2. 13. (Mon) 10:00 ~ 17. (Fri) 16:00 (Registration available only on period)

• Process:  Register (2. 13. (Mon) 10:00 OPEN) ※ Check KUPID ID/PW before in KUPID

• Registration result: Announced individually in 2023. 2. 16. (Thu) 

   (Submit the correct phone number and email address when registering. The further registration process will be informed) 

• Courses registered with less than 15 enrolled students will be closed and their Renaissance program registration will be canceled as well.

※ Those who have registered for the same course twice will be finalized with their last registration
(e.g. If the same course has been added to the 1st and 6th list, you will be considered as the 6th applicant and be on the waitlist; thus, please click one time).

3. Academic Schedule

- 1.5 Credits First half 8 weeks: 3. 2 (Thu) ~ 4. 26. (Wed) 

- 1.5 Credit Second half 8weeks: 4. 27 (Thu) ~ 6. 21 (Wed)

4. Issue Course Certificate

• Course certificate issued to participants above B grade and satisfied all following conditions (certificate issued when requested)

• Course certificate not issued and Fail grade given when following conditions are not satisfied

   - Above 80% attendance rate 

   - Participation in Team Projects and Midterm/Final Exam

   - Further courses registration is limited if the attendance rate is below 80%

   - Not eligible for further courses when one gets more than two F grades on the program 

 - Course Certificate will be sent via individual email after confirming the grade of all courses
