Tradition and Strong Alumni Network Continued Through Donations…

Executive MBA 20th Class Donation Ceremony

On August 5, a donation ceremony for the 20th class of the Executive MBA (E-MBA) program at the Korea University Business School (Dean=Sang Yong Kim) was held in the Dean’s Office of the Business School. The E-MBA program is designed for executives aiming to become CEOs in the near future. The ceremony followed the tradition where each graduating class of the E-MBA gathers donations to give back to the school. The event was attended by key figures such as Doo-hyun Kang, the President of the 20th class, Won-ha Jung, the Secretary Head, alumni Dong-sung Lee, Jong-hwa Lee, Dean Sang Yong Kim, and Professors Daeki Kim and Shijin Yoo.

Before the ceremony, Dean Kim, Professors Kim and Yoo, and the alumni of the 20th class had a conversation. Dean Kim expressed his gratitude for the continuous support and generous donations from the E-MBA alumni, stating, “I sincerely appreciate the warm interest and unwavering support for the development of KUBS and the nurturing of future talents. The dedication and contributions from the 20th class will be used to help future business leaders realize their dreams.”

Following the conversation, President Doo-hyun Kang handed over the donation certificate to Dean Kim, who then presented a donation certificate and a plaque of appreciation to President Kang in return. The ceremony concluded with a group photo to commemorate the meaningful occasion.

This donation holds special significance as all 50 members of the 20th class participated, raising a total of 30 million KRW. The KUBS E-MBA program continues to uphold the tradition of giving back, demonstrating a strong alumni network, and expressing gratitude through donations that support the mission of KUBS.
