Seven (7) KUBS Ph.D. students were selected for Excellent Research Paper Award by Graduate School
The award is presented every year by KU Graduate School to enhance research capabilities
The recipients from 7 areas, including △Management, △Marketing, △Finance, △LSOM, △International Business, etc. have been selected through the judging process

Seven KUBS Ph.D. students were selected for the Excellent Research Paper Award and Academic Encouraging Scholarship given by Korea University Graduate School. On March 2 at 2:00 PM, Associate Dean Seung-Weon Yoo and six recipients attended the award ceremony held at the Associate Dean’s Office.
 
The award is presented to completed research students who have submitted excellent research papers in order to enhance their research capabilities. The school selects finalists from each college in January and July every semester, and they are granted research scholarship.
 
The candidates were recommended by seven areas, which are △Management, △International Business, △Marketing, △Finance, △Accounting, △LSOM, and △MIS, and then chosen through a strict judging process.
 
The award recipients are as follows: △Na Mi Kim (Ph.D. student in Management), △Hye Youn Park (Ph.D. student in International Business), △Jun-Yong Shim (Ph.D. student in Accounting), △Eunyoung Lee (Ph.D. student in Markeing ), △Han Jun Lee (Ph.D. student in MIS), △Euibeom Jeong (Ph.D. student in LSOM), and △Hee-Jung Choi (Ph.D. student in Finance) (the list is in a Korean alphabetical order). An award certificate and scholarship of 2,000,000 won are awarded to the recipients.
 
Associate Dean Seung-Weon Yoo said, “Students’ research capabilities represent the competitiveness of the university.” He added, “We will continue to offer rewards and provide full support to students who have achieved excellent research performance.”
