Three KUBS Ph.D.'s receive “2015 KU Graduate Student Achievement Award”
The 2015 KU Graduate Student Achievement Award was established to motive graduate students and to discover their academic and social achievements

On February 29 (Mon), the KUBS Ph.D.’s were honored with the “2015 KU Graduate Student Achievement Award” hosted by KU Graduate School. The school selected a total of 32 award recipients, and three recipients were chosen from the Department of Business Administration: △Haejung Na (Finance, Advisor Dongcheol Kim), △Jiho Ok (Management, Advisor Johngseok Bae), and △Seunguk Choi (Accounting, Advisor Gil S. Bae).

The “2015 KU Graduate Student Achievement Award” was established to motivate graduate students and to discover their academic and social achievements. The award selection criteria includes △Research publication in renowned journals or a paper of great academic influence in 2015, △Award from a renowned domestic/international competition in the major field of study, △Contribution of remarkable social values in the major field of study through start-up business, invention, patent, etc., and △Recognition for high achievement in the other major field of study, such as leadership activities.

Dr. Jiho Ok, one of the award recipients, said, “It is a great honor to be the first recipient of the “KU Graduate Student Achievement Award. I was able to receive the award under my advisor’s guidance, cooperation with my research colleagues, and a wide range of support by KUBS.” He added, “I hope KUBS continues to encourage and support graduate students in order to produce talented leaders befitting the reputation of Korea University Business School.”
