2021 MSBA 2nd Capstone Project Awards Ceremony Held
“2021 MSBA 2nd Capstone Project Awards Ceremony” was held on Tuesday, February 15. Business Analytics majors of KUBS Graduate School of Business Administration participated in the Capstone Project, contemplating the task, direction, and business model of companies that have encountered Digital Transformation (DT). KUBS CDTB (Co-directors = Baeho Kim, Byungcho Kim) hosted the awards ceremony, and the event was held both online and offline following the COVID-19 quarantine regulations.
Before the main event, Dean Johngseok Bae of KUBS stated in the congratulatory speech, “KUBS is doing its best to adapt to the fast-changing business environment by establishing a DT platform. The efforts of KUBS advisors and students, combined with resources provided by our partner organizations, resulted in great outcomes in this Capstone Project.” Next, Associate Dean Joonho Hwang mentioned, “We selected the awardees based on opinions from the advising professors and project officials. The consensus was that the outcomes of the winning teams were satisfactory enough to be used immediately on the spot.”
The awardees were the representatives of Team 2, Team 3, and Team 7, that won the excellence award in the “2021 MSBA 2nd Capstone Project Final Presentation” on Friday, January 14. The first winning team, Lotte Members Team 2 (Minkyung Bang, Jiwoo Chun; Advisors: Jiye Baek and Byungcho Kim) researched “Customer Management Through VOC Text Mining.” The second winning team, GS Retail Team 3 (Sangwon Lee, Jina Kim, Hyewon Lee; Advisor: Hyunseok Lee) researched “Analysis of Consumer Purchasing Behavior through Image Data Cluster Analysis and Improvement of Recommended Services.” Hyewon Lee was awarded as the representative of the team. The third winning team, Deloitte Consulting Team 7 (Byunghee Kong, Joona Lee; Advisor: Baeho Kim) researched “Evaluation on the Value of Multi Complex Houses Using Big Data.” Byunghee Kong was awarded as the representative of the team.
Head Professor Byungcho Kim of BA major mentioned, “Congratulations to both the project winners and 2nd class of MSBA, who will be graduating very soon. We wish you will become talents who contribute to our society and nation based on what you learned in the BA course.”
