Orientation for 16th generation of Korea University Business School FMBA course held

 

Orientation for 16th generation of Korea University Business School(Dean=Johngseok Bae) Finance MBA(from below FMBA) course was held on February 5th(Sat).

 

 

The event begun with the opening address by Hyun Seung Na, F-MBA head professor, and entrance ceremony address by Johngseok Bae, dean of KUBS. Dr.Bae congratulated the freshman students mentioning the strengths of KUBS, △historicity △distinctive programs △ strong networks between alumni.

 

 

Following the address, Yong Keun Yoo, vice dean of KUBS introduced the strengths, vision, objectives and analysis himself. Professor Yoo said, “Korea University Business School has the largest faculty and is continuously opening new courses so that students can learn about the issues at the moment and apply them immediately.”

 

 

Hyun Seung Na, F-MBA head professor, took on the next order and guided the students on the specific courses. Professor Na explained the system of Bachelor’s degree such as △classes △semesters △graduation requirements, and elaborated on the specifics of F-MBA, which specializes in finance. Also, he mentioned the strengths of F-MBA course, saying “The course actively reflects the recent trends in financial sectors while including all the curriculum related to finances, and is concentrated on keeping the balance.” Next, specifics were explained, such as course system due to COVID-19, curriculum introduction, and course recommendation for freshman students.

 

 

Afterwards, there a session explaining the administration procedure by F-MBA faculty member, student council work plan and activities freshman students can participate such as student clubs and student group of working fields were laid out by Yusang Do, President of Alumni Association, and Ena Park, Vice president of Alumni Association.

As groups were made for networking between freshman students, the event ended in success.
