Korea University Business School (KUBS) topped the 2016 Nationwide Assessment of MBA, conducted by Hankyung Business, for the fourth consecutive year. Since the assessment began in 2013, KUBS has always been a top MBA, reaffirming its leading position in Korea.
The MBA assessment, jointly conducted by Hankyung Business and Global Research, was surveyed by human resource executives and managers from 300 top domestic companies. The six assessment categories include △Professionalism, △Employer’s Preference, △Globalization, △Development Potential, △Compatibility with Organization, and △Entrance into Graduate School. The respondents selected 10 MBA schools by choosing a “Strongly Agree” option in the survey questionnaires, then scored ten points for No. 1, nine points for No. 2, and one point for No. 10.
Among six assessment categories, the KUBS MBA placed the first in △Development Potential and △Compatibility with Organization. Particularly, the MBA program ranked No. 1 in the overall assessment due to the Compatibility with Organization score, which has risen sharply (684 points→822 points).
Hankyung Business reported, “The KUBS MBA shows a steady strength in the category that asks how well can graduates communicate with team members with friendly and altruistic mind in a Korean company where it has a strong organizational culture.” The magazine also stated, “The KUBS MBA was able to rank No. 1 in the Development Potential category, which has small score-gap and frequent ranking change, because KUBS has joined the CEMS Global Alliance, and is targeting the global MBA market.”
Meantime, the KUBS MBA placed 27th worldwide (No. 1 in Korea) in the Financial Times’s Executive MBA assessment. As the best business education institution in Korea, the KUBS MBA is evaluated by various outcomes.
Dean Dong-One Kim said, “The KUBS MBA has been running MBA curriculums which meet various needs of applicants and providing full support.” He added, “Furthermore, as the best MBA program in Korea, we will strengthen our position by producing talented leaders with challenge-driven and adventurous spirit who can open up new avenues.”
