KUBS, keeping in line with the globalization demand of the faculty and students, created the new system to provide systematic support for the global program and to effectively promote the excellence of KUBS at home and abroad. The five employees in charge of international affairs at the International Office are all fluent in English. Their duties cover exchange students, exchange agreements, internships, foreign faculty and international accreditation etc. KUBS plans to further expand its exchange student program so that all students from KUBS can study abroad. Under this plan, KUBS is actively exchanging with prestigious foreign universities and expanding overseas internships at world renowned financial institutions and manufactures so that students can get hands-on experiences in global business. Each semester international exchange students can promote their own schools at the Exchange Fair. Also information regarding life in Korea is provided, such as Korean cultural events, to help international exchange students adjust to Korea. More support will be provided to the international faculty. With the largest number of international professors in Korea, KUBS plans to increase the number of international professors to around 30 by 2010. Also with the increase in the number of international visiting professors, the International Office will provide systematic services relating to the tenure, schedule and office arrangement of international professors.
