    현재 고려대학교 경영대학 Logistics, Service and Operations Management (LSOM) 부교수로 재직 중이며, LSOM 전공주임교수와 KUBS Research Fellow를 맡고 있다. 

    주요 연구 분야는 실증적 분석과 인과추론 방법론을 활용한 운영관리이다. 구체적으로는 리테일·헬스케어·플랫폼을 중심으로 한 서비스 운영관리, 인센티브와 인력 스케줄링을 중심으로 한 사람 중심 운영관리, 그리고 의약품 부족 현상 등 수요와 공급능력의 불일치 문제를 연구하고 있다. 연구논문은 Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management 등 운영관리 및 경영학 분야의 주요 국제 학술지에 게재되었다.

    연구 성과를 인정받아 2022년 고려대학교 석탑연구상 (고려대학교 상위 3% 연구자), 2022년 매경 신진학자 논문상, 2023년 신진생산관리학자상, 2023년 한국경영학회 융합학술대회 최우수논문상, 2026년 고려대학교 경영대학 SK Distinguished Research Award 등을 수상하였다. 또한 2025년부터 KUBS Research Fellow로 선정되었다.

    학부, 대학원, MBA 학생을 대상으로 Business Statistics/Analytics, Operations Management, Service Operations Management, Empirical Research in OM, Special Topics in OM 등을 강의하고 있다. 강의 성과를 인정받아 고려대학교 석탑강의상과 우수강의상을 여러 차례 수상하였다.

    고려대학교 경영대학에서 학사와 석사 학위를 취득하였고, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill의 Kenan-Flagler Business School에서 경영학 박사학위(Operations)를 받았다. 고려대학교에 부임하기 전에는 미국 오리건주립대학교 경영대학에서 조교수로 재직하였다.

    미국의 백화점, 할인점, 식료품 리테일 체인과 협업하여 연구를 수행하였으며, 국내에서는 현대자동차그룹, GS Retail, 아모레퍼시픽, 한미약품, 빙그레, 이랜드, 현대홈쇼핑 등과 산학협력 프로젝트를 진행하였다.
