ONLINE APPLLICATION(2/1-2/6) for FALL 2013- Undergraduate and Graduates
After reviewing the attachment of final version, please go to the link below and apply.
The Online application for Fall 2013-2 is finished.
After filling in the application, please print out the application form and agreement before clicking “submit”, which is “제출” in Korean
Online application will be open from 10 AM on 1st of Feb until 4 PM on 6th of Feb.
The following MUST be READ before applying.
1.Once Online application form and agreement are submitted, you cannot make any change. Please check thoroughly before submitting)
2. All the attachment except application form and agreement should be in word file (doc) or jpg.or pdf.
3. All the attached documents should be handed in International Office of KUBS until 16:30 on 7th of Feb. The copy of passport and the original copy of TOEFL score can be submitted until the interview day. MBA students who will be abroad during the mentioned dates can submit all of the documents until 15th of Feb,17:30.
- If your original copy of TOEFL score cannot be submitted until 15th of Feb, you can make a image capture of online score and then upload that image file to online application but still, you should submit the original copy until 15th of Feb.
4.If you are not willing to submit the original copies of the proof of your activities, you can prepare another copy of them and receive “Original(원본대조필)” stamp from International Office.
5.How to Calculate your most recent 2 semesters(modules) average GPA:
Module 1) TNC :9.0 GPA: 3.5
Module 2) TNC: 11.0 GPA: 4.0
{(3.5x 9.0)+ (4.0 x 11)} / 20.0 = 3.77
Then, 3.77 is what you need to put for GPA of recent two modules.
6. The online application deadline(6th of Feb,16:00) applies same to all the MBA applicants.
Except the MBA students who will be abroad during the dates, other MBA students who are in Korea should submit all the application documents until the same deadline, which is 16:30 on 7th of Feb.
7. The daum e-mail account can be handled as SPAM. Therefore, please write down the other e-mail accounts except Daum account. KUPID e-mail address should be changed into different accounts after nomination,thus the other e-mail accounts such as naver or gmail are recommended.(KUPID e-mail account can be sent to spam box of the other international school accounts)
8. Please put the accurate number of your cell phone. Please double-check it.
9. The interview schedule and team will be announced on this webpage at 17:00 on 12th of Feb.(The interview will be proceeded on 14th and 15th of Feb from 13;00-17:00)
If you need to adjust your interview time due to the agreeable reason, please e-mail to mjseo@korea.ac.kr or kubs_exchange@hotmail.com to inform the available date and time.
10. If you fail to attend the interview due to the personal reason, you will be left out of the selection process. If you are unavailable for the interview because of KU official event, please e-mail to mjseo@korea.ac.kr or kubs_exchange@hotmail.com (with specific reasons)
Especially, when you are out of Korea we need to arrange a telephone interview, thus informing us of your availability beforehand is necessary.
11. Applying right before the deadline can make the online application delayed, please take your time and apply ahead.
12. Submitting online application after the deadline(16:00 6th of Feb) can subtract your points.
13. If the exchange schools require the applicants to be in their 3rd or 4th year, the student who are currently in 2nd semester of 2nd year, or 2nd semester of 3rd year can be eligible.
14. You do NOT need to fill out all 5 priority schools. Please choose the schools you really wish to go to.
15. If the names on your TOEFL score and passport are spelled differently, please change the spelling according to the passport.
If making a spelling change on TOEFL score is not possible, you need to make a memo saying that the spellings are different when submitting.
16. If activities-proving documents are more than 1 paper, please collect them and upload them within 1 single file. It can be submitted in Korean since it will be used as the internal reference.
17. The name of official school papers should be same as the one on the passport. If you need to make a change, you can change it at the undergraduate office and then, acquire the changed document from One-Stop service center.

18. All the documents should be scanned and uploaded if necessary. English Official transcript and Certificate of Enrollment should be issued at One-Stop Service center and then be scanned, uploaded in jpg or pdf file.
The passport should be scanned and uploaded in jpg or pdf file. SOP and Resume can be submitted in doc file.
19. After you scan TOEFL score and then upload to the online application, the original copy MUST be submitted. If you do not scan and upload it to the online application in the first place, you can NOT apply to the schools which require official TOEFL score.
20. Regarding uploading passport, you need to scan the page that has your personal information and photo and upload it.
21. If you find the error in your name such as misspelling AFTER submitting the online application, you should make the change in the documents(transcript and certificate of enrollment) based on the name of the passport. And then, you should hand in Official transcript and certificate on the interview day.
22. The 2nd time applicants MUST submit the online application form and all the documents as well. Transcript and certificate of enrollment, TOEFL score should be submitted in original.
23. The invalid TOEFL or any other invalid language score cannot be considered.
24. You should write your corresponding year in the standard of Spring Semester of 2013.
25. Receiving “Original”(원본대조필) can only be applicable to Extra-Curricular activities proof.
The original copy of TOEFL score should be submitted due to the partner schools’ requirements.
26. Students themselves cannot check their application status systemically.
