KUBS has set an unprecedented record by ranking no. 1 for eighth consecutive years in the ‘National Business School Evaluation’ by Hankyung Business Weekly. KUBS reconfirmed its position as the best in Korea since the survey started in 2008.
The “National Business School Evaluation,” where points are given based on the surveys completed by the HR directors of the top 300 companies, has been conducted by Hankyung Business Weekly in conjunction with NICE Group. This is used as a verifiable index based on evaluation through specific and objective numbers, which assesses the relative positions and reputations of business schools. The survey was conducted from October 10 to November 10, 2015
Out of nine survey areas, KUBS scored the highest score in the following six: △Relevance between education and career, △Job adaptability, △Organizational harmony, △Developmental potential △Diligence and responsibility, and △Employee recruitment. In addition, KUBS ranked no. 2 in the remaining areas of “Creativity” and “Internationalization”
Hankyung Business Weekly analyzed KUBS through an article, “boasting its tradition, Korea University, founded in 1905 as Bosung College (Commerce and Financial Management), celebrated its 110th Anniversary,” and “through this evaluation survey by corporates, KUBS has been recognized as the top leading business school by ranking no. 1 for eighth consecutive years.
Aside from the “National Business School Evaluation” by Hankyung Business Weekly, KUBS is said to be shaking up the business world by achieving numerous high rankings and records this year, such as △no. 91 on the UTD Worldwide Business School Rankings Based on Research Contributions (no. 1 in Korea), △No. 1 on Hankyung Business Weekly MBA Evaluation from the Top 200 Companies in Korea, △Career Development Center, National Brand Awards Grand Prize, and △No. 22 on the FT Global EMBA Rankings (no. 1 in Korea).
“KUBS will not rest on our laurels but will continue to shift the paradigm of business education. Rather than focusing on professional practices, we hope to provide a curriculum that increases students to think on their feet,” said KUBS Dean Dong-One Kim. “We will give full support to our students and educate them as innovative and creative entrepreneurs who may establish the next Google and Facebook.”
