A "Startup Essential Education" was held on July 23th (Tuesday) and 25th (Thursday) at Room 303 of Hyundai Motor Hall for the tenants of the Iljin Center for Startup Incubation. Professor Kim Hicheon and 10 other lecturers gave special lectures, with about 20 students attending.
First, Professor Kim Hicheon began the lecture by advising start-up station tenants. While introducing the CEOs of Naver, NC Soft and Nexon, Kim said, "It is my dream that alumni of our startup stations will grow into such successful cases," and "You will succeed because the market is bigger than 20 years ago, there is full support from KUBS, and you all have excellent intellectual skills."
Professor Moon Jungbien then gave a lecture on social values and the spirit of entrepreneurship. Professor Yoo Shijin explained about insights on the startup market, while Professor Nam Daeil talked about successful start-up business models. Professor Shin Myung-chul gave a lecture on "VC Clinical Session," while Professor Chung Jaeho talked about "Startup Way: What We Found in Growing Startups."
On the second and third days, the education was centered on practice. Kim Shin-il, a tax accountant (Seongbuk Tax Office), Lee Juhan, a lawyer, (legal support group for Startups), and Tae Won-seok, CEO of Cosmetheus (ChuChu, third generation) gave special lectures on corporate establishment, accounting and tax practices, digital marketing, contract preparation, and patent practice. As the last speaker, CEO Kim Yoon-hwan of Talling delivered a lecture on "The Growth Story of Seniors of KUBS" and wrapped up the three-day Startup Essential education.
