The 3rd Exchange Fair where foreign exchange students personally provided information on their home universities was held on June 2nd at Room 429 of LG-POSCO Hall and the Park Hyun Joo Lounge.
 

The Exchange Fair, held every semester, is put together to promote friendship between the foreign exchange students and KUBS students and allow the foreign exchange students to provide information on their own schools.

The International Office who organized the event said “There was not a lot of information about many of the prominent overseas universities. But through these events held every semester student’s preference for these schools are increasing.”

Students from 23 schools in 13 countries attended the event. Attending schools included University of British Columbia of Canada, Peking University of China, and University of Illinois of US and National University of Singapore etc.
 

There was great response from prospective exchange students as each of the participating schools provided substantial information that students needed for their stay such as school introduction, recommended subjects, semester system etc.

Christina Kim, an exchange student from Illinois University shared her thoughts on the event “KUBS students showed great interest. They asked questions about various activities and the level of English needed for an enjoyable exchange student experience. It was very productive since KUBS students were able to obtain a lot of information about the schools that have an exchange agreement with KUBS.
