KUBS (Dean = Doo-Hee Lee) won the ‘2013 Korea Management Awards’ on July 19th.
The Korea Management Awards, which was first established this year, is divided into 4 areas: Sustainability Management, Technical Innovation Management, Human Resource Management, and Customer Value Management. KUBS had the honor of being awarded for the Human Resource Management area.
The Dong-A Ilbo and the Korea Management Awards Selection Committee, the organizer of the event, recognized KUBS’s outstanding student support system such as the scholarship provision rate (60~70% annually), state-of-the-art facilities (the LG-POSCO Building and the Hyundai Motor Hall), and the strong faculty with degrees from prestigious universities around the world.
KUBS Dean Doo-Hee Lee said, “I am glad that our continuous efforts to foster future business professionals have been acknowledged through this award” and “We will do our best to train international business leaders who will play a leading role in the growth of the world economy.”
Meanwhile, KUBS has also been doing well in terms of rankings and awards: No. 12 on England’s Financial Times Worldwide EMBA Rankings 2012 (No. 1 in Korea), No. 88 in the UT Dallas 2013 Worldwide Business School Research Rankings (No.1 in Korea), No. 1 for five years in a row in the Hankyung Business’s Business School rankings, No. 1 for MBA Assessment, the National Brand Grand Prize for the Business School Career Development Center, and more.
