Special Seminar on ‘SCOPUS’ the world’s largest citation database

Sudang Digital Library, KUBS’s business information library, held a special lecture on SCOPUS, the world’s largest abstract and citation database, to help students increase their information usage.

The 1st seminar was held at 5 pm on November 23rd and the 2nd seminar at 5 pm on November 25th. The special seminar included education on SCOPUS as well as quiz events. The 90 minute seminar was held at the Training Room on the 3rd floor of the Business School Main Hall. Applications were received online on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Introducing SCOPUS:
A. As the world’s largest abstract and citation database, SCOPUS indexes 16000 journals from more than 5000 publishers.
B. Since 2008, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has used SCOPUS data to select the Worlds Class University Project.
C. When evaluating the “Top 200 University,” “The Times” uses SCOPUS data to evaluate the research performance of universities.
