Students from the Finance MBA and Global MBA programs held an ‘Honor Declaration Ceremony’ at the LG-POSCO Hall on September 17 in the presence of Professor Iin-wan Cho and Hosun Rhim, academic directors of the programmes..
The students signed the honor declaration and took an oath, pledging to conduct business with the highest level of ethical consciousness based on integrity and trust.
Hosun Rhim, the academic director of the Global MBA program, said “I hope you, as students of KU MBA, will develop into talent that possesses a strong sense of ethics and responsibility”.
Cruz Hernandez Laura Liliana(G-MBA 4th batch) who attended the ‘Honor Declaration Ceremony’ said “ I felt proud of the school during the ceremony. Just as I pledged in the honor declaration, I hope to become a responsible business professional.”
For the F-MBA and G-MBA programs which conduct the “Honor Declaration Ceremony’ every year, professional ethics education has become an important part of the curriculum in strengthening the students’ commitment to business ethics. In addition to the honor declaration, KUBS is providing professional ethics education through various means such as emphasizing ethics-related material in all the courses, encouraging student participation in volunteer activities and conducting examinations without supervisors.
A MBA School official commented “With increasing social emphasis on business ethics, the MBA School plans to continue increasing programs that strengthen professional ethics and to include business ethics in the curriculum.”
