[학부] 2026학년도 1학기 중동 사태에 따른 특별휴학 신청 안내

최근 중동 지역 내 무력 충돌로 인한 항공 운항 차질로

일부 외국인 유학생이 학기 초 정상적으로 입국하지 못하는 상황이 발생하고 있습니다.

이에 해당 학생들을 대상으로 특별휴학(재난·감염병 사유) 신청 방법을 아래와 같이 안내드립니다.

- 아    래 -

가. 신청 대상자 : 중동 지역 공습으로 인해 최종등록기간(3.12(목) 16시) 이내 한국 입국 또는 정상적인 수업 참여가

                       어려울 것으로 예상되는 외국인 및 내국인 학생

  ※ 현재 학적이 재학 또는 휴학인 경우에만 휴학 신청 가능

  ※ 외국인 학생의 경우 글로벌서비스센터를 통해 안내받은 메일 설문에 사전 응답 필수

나. 신청 서류(온라인 제출, 붙임 양식 활용)

  - 휴학원서

  - 등록금환불신청서(금학기 등록금을 납부한 경우만)

  - 현지 체류 입증 서류 및 항공 결항 등 입국이 불가함을 입증할 수 있는 자료

  - 복학취소 신청서(금학기에 복학한 경우만)

다. 신청 절차

  - 경영대학행정팀에 서류를 갖추어 신청함(2026년 1학기, 1개 학기만 신청 가능)

라. 신청 유의사항

  - 이미 금학기 등록금을 납부한 학생의 경우, 최종 등록기간인 3.12(목) 16시까지 증빙을

   갖추어 휴학을 신청해야 등록금 전액 환불이 가능하니 바로 신청해주시기 바랍니다.

  - 특별휴학은 일반휴학기간(최대 8학기)에 산입되지 않음

  - 특별휴학이 아닌 일반휴학을 신청하는 것도 가능(학기중휴학 신청 공고 참조)

  - 특별휴학 신청 후에는 등록금 환불 절차가 진행되므로 철회 불가

  - 특별휴학 적용 시 비자 문제가 발생할 수 있으므로 외국인 유학생은 신청 시 사전에 글로벌서비스센터 설문 응답 필수

  - 특별휴학을 신청하지 않고 수업에 참여하지 못하는 경우 등록금, 성적 등에서 불이익이 발생할 수 있으며, 수업별 특성이

    상이하여 대면수업의 일괄적인 온라인 수업 제공은 불가합니다.

[Undergraduate] Application for Special Leave of Absence Due to the Middle East Situation (Spring Semester 2026)

Due to disruptions in flight operations caused by the recent armed conflict in the Middle East, some international students are experiencing difficulties entering Korea at the beginning of the semester.

Accordingly, the application process for Special Leave of Absence (Disaster/Infectious Disease Reason) is provided below for affected students.

1. Eligible Applicants
Students (both international and domestic) who are expected to have difficulty entering Korea or participating in classes normally by the final registration deadline (March 12, 16:00) due to airstrikes in the Middle East.

※ Leave of absence may only be requested if the current academic status is enrolled or on leave.
※ International students must complete the survey provided via email by the Global Service Center in advance.

2. Required Documents (Online submission, use the attached forms)

- Leave of Absence Application Form

- Tuition Refund Request Form (only for students who have already paid tuition for this semester)

- Supporting documents demonstrating inability to enter Korea (e.g., proof of local stay, flight cancellations, etc.)

- Cancellation of Reinstatement Form (only for students who reinstated this semester)

3. Application Procedure

- Submit the required documents to the administrative office of your college(Application is limited to one semester: Spring 2026)

4. Important Notes

- Students who have already paid tuition for the current semester must submit the leave of absence application with supporting documents by the final registration deadline (March 12, 16:00) to receive a full tuition refund.

- The period of special leave will not be counted toward the maximum period for general leave of absence (up to 8 semesters).

- Students may also apply for a general leave of absence instead of a special leave of absence (refer to the announcement on Leave of Absence during School Term).

- Once a special leave of absence application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn as the tuition refund process will proceed.

- As visa-related issues may arise when applying for special leave, international students must complete the Global Service Center survey in advance.

- If students are unable to attend classes without applying for a special leave of absence, they may experience disadvantages regarding tuition, grades, and other academic matters. In addition, due to differences in course characteristics, it is not possible to provide online alternatives for in-person classes uniformly.
