KUBS 소식
- the 2nd Exchange Fair on Thursday, Nov. 27 -
Exchange Fair, where international students studying at KUBS on exchange gather and publicize their home universities, was held on Thursday November 27 in the 4th floor of LG-POSCO Hall and Park Hyun Joo Lounge.
The second Exchange Fair, following the first one held in the previous semester, provided an opportunity to meet with exchange students from overseas partner universities of KUBS, hear from them about their schools and promote personal networks among students. International exchange students from 32 universities in 18 countries, including the University of Florida and Mannheim Business School, participated in the fair to introduce their home universities. During the presentation session, exchange students introduced their home universities, alongside with individual school booths to provide information for the visitors.
KU students were able to obtain practical information about partner schools such as estimated living costs, accommodation, recommendable courses etc. “At first, I didn’t notice what the purpose of the exchange fair was, but when I attended the fair, I was able to have access to excellent resources directly from exchange students who are studying at KUBS and it was greatly beneficial for me since I had a chance to learn about countries and schools that I wasn’t familiar with.” (Prospective exchange student for 2009, interested in universities in France)
Exchange students were also enthusiastic about promoting their schools. “I’m so glad and thankful to have an opportunity to represent my school along with other exchange students. I never have realized that so many KU students are also interested in studying abroad at various counties with diverse cultures. And also, I was proud to share my knowledge and advice with KU students. I hope they have gained a clearer view about my school.” (Exchange student from National University of Singapore)
