The Alumni Mentor-Mentee Meeting, hosted by Career Hub (previously named KUBS Career Development Center) every semester, is a mentoring service program for KUBS students and graduates. KUBS students can apply for the mentoring program through the KUBS website each semester. Participating students (2nd – 4th year students) will be paired up alumni who are working in the field the student is hoping to pursue, so that they can receive career counseling as well as practical advice on job market.
Alumnus Yong Tae Jang (Business Administration, ’69) has been appointed as delegate and received a letter of appointment at the event. After the introduction of the alumnus, the mentoring event began, and the students asked questions about the job market to alumni. During the snack time, they also talked about general college life. “It is a pleasure to meet the KUBS graduates from the field of my interest,” Mentee Joo-ho Kim (Business Administration, ’12) said. “Seeing that the mentors are very passionate and willing to help us, I have no doubt this mentoring program will be meaningful.”
Meanwhile, 48 alumni mentors and 124 KUBS students have applied for the 2016 Alumni Mentor-Mentee Meeting.
