Four teams deliver presentations, team DEX wins

The presentations for the ‘2nd KUBS Business Idea Competition’ were delivered on October 29th at the SUPEX Hall of the LG POSCO Building. The competition organized by the KUBS Students Council seeks innovative business ideas from KUBS students.

Sei-in Park (Business Administration 06), President of the KUBS Student Council, said “We organized the competition so that students would have a platform to express their business ideas by giving them an opportunity to start a business.”

Relevant experts such as Gi-sung Chang Manager at Hana Daetoo Securities, Yong-sik Lee Director of Citi Bank, and Jae-man Park Executive Director of Hyundai Securities served as judges.

The four teams that passed the 1st paper-screening process delivered their presentations. The presentation themes included ‘Pioneering the Art Brokerage Market’ and ‘Career Development Community Website for College Students’. The Grand Prize went to Team DEX who presented their business plan on ‘Humanities Arts Education Program’.

Min-suk Kim (Business Administration 07) who won the Grand Prize said “I think I won today because the judges related to my idea on popularizing the humanities. With this business idea, I am going to start a business and open an online website. I will show everyone the true spirit of a KUBS.”
