Donation of 50 Million Won by Byeong-chae Kim, CEO of Poinix Inc.
Mr. Byeong-chae Kim (Business ’77, CEO of Poinix Inc.) made a donation of 50 million won to the Business School.
The contribution by Mr. Byeong-chae Kim will be used to finance scholarships to business school student. Mr. Kim added “I have always wanted to be a part of supporting the School’s outstanding achievement. I wish my contribution would be well spent on my junior KUBS students and the School”.
Established in 2003, Poinix Inc. is a company specialized on pavement technology, renowned for their best-selling product ‘RSBS modified Double Layer Porous Asphalt’. The product has a remarkable soundproof capacity up to 90% of traffic noise with the absence of soundproof walls. Since 2006 Poinix Inc. has worked on their research on noise reduction paving, and presented their technology on the market in 2007. Poinix Inc. developed double layer porous asphalt in 2011. Poinix Inc. is the very first organization to receive national accreditation from the Ministry of Environment on their technology of traffic noise reduction in 2015.
