Korea University ranked the First in the employment rate among business schools of private universities
According to the government's official announcement of employment rate of each university, Korea University Business School (Dean Dong-one Kim) ranked the first in the employment rate among business schools of private universities. Korea University Business School scored 85.5% in the employment rate, which is much higher than that of Yonsei University (77.5%) and Sungkyunkwan University (76.7%). This is the result of the survey conducted by the Ministry of Education, asking the university students graduating from February 2014 to August 2013.

Dean of KUBS Dong-One Kim commented, "The factor of high employment rate is that students who graduated from KUBS possess the courtesy and good personality that domestic companies require. Our Business School takes 'Business for Society' as a top priority in education." The Hankyung Business Weekly's 'National Business School Evaluation' targeting human resources managers in top 200 companies shows that KUBS has ranked the first in the areas of organization adaptability, sincerity and responsibility for seven consecutive years.

Korea University Business School offers a variety of career development services that enable students to explore career paths that truly suit them by running its own Career Development Center(KUBS CDC). The notable examples include 'Alumni Mentoring' through which students can get practical advice from alumni working in the field that students are interested in, 'Career discovery' which provides opportunities to explore possible careers, and 'New Venture Competition' where students preparing for start-ups can meet and get mentoring from alumni entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, the employment rate of the entire Korea University graduates was 69.3%, much higher than that of Seoul National University (61%), Yonsei University (64.1%), and Sungkyunkwan University (66.5%). Within Korea University, there are 6 departments with the employment rate above 90%: School of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering (100%), School of Mechanical Engineering (90%), School of Industrial Management Engineering, Department of Spanish Language and Literature (94.3%), Department of Computer Education (92.9%), and College of Medicine (98.3%).
