<2026 KUBS Challenge Case Competition> - Call for Applications

1. Eligibility

- Open to team of four KUBS undergraduate students (including dual degree and double majors, and students currently on a leave of absence are also eligible.)
- All team members must be able to deliver presentations in English.
- Ineligible Applicants: Students who fall under any of the following categories are not eligible to participate in the KUBS Challenge, as they will not be available to participate in the international case competition scheduled for the first half of 2027:
(1) Students expected to graduate in February 2027
(2) Students expected to complete their degree requirements in Fall 2026, as well as students who have already completed their degree requirements
(3) Students scheduled to participate in an outbound exchange program in Spring 2027
(4) Incoming exchange students

2. Application

- Application Period: October 12 (Mon), 2026  - October 28 (Wed), 2026, by 5:00 P.M.

- How to Apply: One representative from each team should submit all required documents via email to the KUBS International Office Email (kubsintl@korea.ac.kr)

- Required Documents: KUBS Challenge Application Form per team (attached), English CV per team member (maximum one page per person, free format)

3. Competition Schedule

* The above schedule is subject to change.

* All team members must participate in the presentation in English.
 

4. Evaluation Criteria: Analytical skills,  creative, logical reasoning, communication skills and other relevant competencies

- The international business case competition currently planned for 2027 is:

  *  Sauder Summit Global Case Competition, The University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada

- Competitions and schedules are subject to change

- For the Gold Award team, KUBS will cover the competition registration fee, airfare, and accommodation expenses. Participants will only be responsible for their personal expenses.

- The team selected to represent KUBS in the international competition must participate in training sessions with a faculty advisor prior to the competition.

- Award-winning teams will receive additional consideration when applying for KUBS international programs, including the student exchange program.

- A Networking event with previous KUBS international case competition teams is planned for award-winning teams in November.
