Professor Kwangtae Park at Korea University Business School (KUBS) has been elected as the 33rd president of the Korean Association of Small Business Studies. The turn-over and inauguration ceremony was held at the “2016 Spring Symposium of Korean Association of Small Business Studies" on April 8 (Fri). Professor Park will serve a one-year term until April 2017 as president of the Korean Association of Small Business Studies.
 
The Korean Association of Small Business Studies was established in 1978 under the purpose of developing small and medium-sized businesses (SME). It is a representative association for SMEs having members of about 2,000. The association has been contributing in many areas, such as SME research, support policy development, and global strategic plan, by organizing annual symposium, forums, journal publication, and a variation of research activities.  
 
“I will do my absolute best to create synergy with research activities of each area, globalization of association, and other SME associations,” Professor Park said, delivering his inaugural speech. Professor Kwangtae Park is currently serving as △Vice President of Korea Logistics Society, △Management Consultant of Small and Medium Business Corporation, and △Consulting Professor of Samsung Electronics for Win-Win Cooperation. In addition, he was △Associate Dean of Korea University Business School, △President of Korea Productivity Association, △President of Korean Corporation Management Association, etc.
