Main Purpose of the Job

• Be responsible for the strong leadership to conduct the continuous improvement not only for SCM but also for cross functional within Medtronic, together with the hands-on coaching to the people within the organization.
• Be responsible for lean project management; creating initiatives, the implementation, on-going review and regular overhaul of the existing supply chain.
• Be responsible for successful change management across areas for SCM
• Be responsible to use the timely functional knowledge throughout the organization in the area of SCM for better future. Also need to gain an insight into current industry best practices and make proposals how they can be applied at Medtronic.

 
Key Responsibilities 

• Assess the business requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide team to develop the processes and enhancements and will achieve the business goals much better in the most appropriate manner
• Lead multiple team members throughout the overall operations in planning, implementing and reviewing the business process based on the best of breed supply chain model
• Create project plans ; inspire team members and take responsibility across project teams; hold teams accountable to schedules, budget and business scope and objective
• Work cross-functionally with peers to develop and influence consistent practices related to performance management, quality program, cost management and the increase the level of awareness for SCM
• Establish, interpret, execute and recommend modifications to strategies. Ensure governance, compliance and processes are followed.
• Lead Medtronic Operating system to make continuous improvement culture through A3 problem solving skills
• Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s Mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
• Comply with Medtronic’s Finance and Legal policies and procedures, respond to both Internal and External Audit enquiries in a timely manner, and ensure follow-up on Action Items to address Audit recommendations.

 
 
JOB QUALIFICATION
 
Experience and Knowledge

• 1~7 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record in leading and driving supply chain improvement projects (i.e black belt & operations)Preferred professional working experience in medical device & health care industry
• Strong people leadership skill required
• Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas ; SCM, business process reengineering
• Computer literacy including MS Office suite of software and ERP, Planning system

Other Comments or Requirements
