JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Analyst/Sr. Analyst assists the global team in performing due diligence on new primary fund investment opportunities across all sub-asset classes. The Analyst/Sr. Analyst also assists in monitoring existing investments for consistency to stated strategy, performance, trends and other qualitative and quantitative aspects. The Analyst/Sr. Analyst also completes other special projects, as necessary. The position will provide exposure to the top firms in the private equity industry and will also include interaction with senior members of the firm on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the initial screening and evaluation of new investment opportunities.
- Play a meaningful role in General Partner meetings and site visits with senior staff oversight.
- Work as part of a team to develop final investment decisions regarding private equity funds, including performing quantitative analysis on fund managers’ investment performance, and preparing written investment recommendations for the firm’s investment committee.
- Have full knowledge of analytics and qualitative factors crucial to fund analysis and complete models efficiently accurately.
- Complete special projects, including client projects, industry analysis and geographical studies, as necessary.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:
- 1-3 years experience; private equity fund investing experience is preferred
- Skilled analytical capabilities combined with strong communication and poised presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and measurable success as a strategic thinker
- Strong initiative and independent performance
- Ability to present and defend opinions and investment theses
- Ability to be self-directed and actively seek out information and resources to complete assignments effectively and efficiently
