Position: Business planning and Strategy
  • Take a responsibility of overall business performance and risk management by standardizing process, cost optimization, streamline of business and monitoring business/operation risk.
  • Prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in liaison with other businesses, Finance, region and monitor financial impact through MI report
  • Pro-actively work with the regional Banking BRCM, Compliance, ORIC, Legal and Finance teams to ensure effective processes and controls are in place across business to comply with Global Standards, Audits, Policies and assist to resolve any applicable issues
  • Act as the central management function for all flagship initiatives within business from a functional, process, product and people perspective
  • Oversee the processes relating to internal and external audits and regulatory inspections – including ensuring that all identified issues are addressed in accordance with expected deadlines and group control requirements
  • Provide all administrative services for the customers' assets including overseeing position monitoring and submission of substantial shareholder reports to FSS, and provision of regular Foreign Ownership Limit information
  • Successfully deliver internal projects in a smooth and efficient manner.
  • Work with external/internal counterparties for training arrangements and conduct analysis for feedback and planning for future
  • Oversee the training needs and try to maximize the benefits for the business which can be related to all categories  including risk, operation etc
  • Work with the OpR teams to ensure a strong BCP/BRP process is implemented and will provide adequate security to the business.

Qualification
  • Minimum three years experience in wholesale banking or the financial industry
  • Good understanding of Banking products and services
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives across business and function.
  • Capacity to effectively balance the demands of the business with the risk appetite and policies of the Bank
  • Proven skills and experience in complex, multi-stakeholder project management, with good ability to manage multiple tasks to challenging deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good interpersonal communication skills with good command of written & spoken English
  • Strong people management skill to lead a team with multiple functions
