Job Description
|
The Client Liaison Associate is responsible for day-to-day liaison of client relationships.
|
Major Duties
|
-
Acting as focal point of contact for clients, responding to client inquiries, and coordinating with appropriate internal parties to ensure resolution of issues.
-
Working with relationship managers to actively manage clients’ expectations, participate in strategic planning for client relationships and keeping relationship manager informed of all significant service issues.

Verifying and coordinating client invoicing.
-
Providing effective assistance and research on delivery systems.
-
Acting as contact point and liaising with internal colleagues for servicing of client’s needs.

Identifying process improvement opportunities and operating efficiencies.

Documenting administrative procedures.

Assisting relationship managers and Chief Representative with special projects as needed, including researching projects.

Knowledge/Skill
|
-
Knowledge of global custody products and services usually acquired through related work experience is desirable, particularly on financial instruments and investment accounting.

Analytical skills are necessary to understand and translate client requirements into deliverables.

Problem solving and organizational skills are required to research and resolve inquiries and manage conflicting priorities.

Good interpersonal skills are essential to successfully service clients and to maintain good working relationships with internal colleagues.

Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
-
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is desirable.

Experience
|
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a related banking industry.
• Strong operational experience from investment management or custody, asset management and fund management house is advantageous.
