The function of a High Touch Operations Manager (H.T.O.M.) provides customers with a dedicated Cisco operations manager who is familiar with their business and operational processes and their technical support history. This service operations management expert continually monitors Cisco’s customer's technical support needs, tracks every open service request, and makes sure that IT resources, both at Cisco and within the customer's organisation, are aligned appropriately to resolve issues quickly and completely. This level of support can help expedite problem resolution, improve network performance, and increase the overall productivity of Cisco customer's IT staff and business.
 
Key Objectives of the Role and the Team
• Personalised(customized) operational support eight hours a day, five days a week (although exact times might vary)
• Ongoing case management and escalation management of service requests
• Periodic conference calls with customers to report on and expedite issue resolution
• Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with the status of your service requests
• Documentation of operations to ensure that all your specific operational and related topics are documented and available in the Cisco secured internal portal devoted to you to help expedite issue resolution
• Participation in quarterly meetings to present quarterly operations data analysis
• Designated to customer’s network to provide a point of contact for operations and process issues
• Understand customer’s business goals and how the network operations support the business goals
• Share operational best practices with customer
• Provide recommendations on the operational abnormalities and gaps identified.


Attributes of a Successful Candidate

• A positive and proactive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Ability to analyze inventory/operations data and find out operational trends, abnormalities and gaps identified. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured, cross functional, cross country, territory and theatre environment.
• Ability to work as a team player and to work with minimal supervision. 
• Demonstrate high-level of maturity and confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and stellar interpersonal skills


Skills & Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially professional PowerPoint and Excel.
• BA/BS degree.
• You’ve been working for less than two years since graduating with your latest degree
