OPEN POSITION

Full-time analyst (after 3 months’ probation period) - Immediate start

JOB DESCRIPTION

The opportunity will be at Colony Capital Seoul Office and the ideal candidate will have between min 1 and max 2 years of relevant private equity, investment banking, and asset management experience in the real estate and distressed investments with a strong passion for private equity, finance, and real estate. The position requires intimate familiarity with real estate fundamentals, an ability to efficiently prioritize tasks, excellent written and oral communication abilities, and robust modeling skills. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently, but also able to function effectively as a part of a team. The Analyst will be part of an extremely lean team, mainly focusing on acquisitions and dispositions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing new and existing domestic/overseas investment opportunities (market research, DCF modeling and asset valuation) - focusing on various real estate assets and distressed debts

• Creating and presenting potential deal summaries and recommendations during weekly investment meetings

• Preparing documentation of financial, accounting, tax, and legal documents (incl. translation) for internal/external clients 

• Working on various projects to support client relations including local capital formation and marketing activities

• Performing day-to-day operation related administrative works

QUALIFICATIONS

• Male candidates only

• Minimum of one year (and a maximum of two years) of post-undergrad full-time work experience in real estate and/or finance preferred

• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with upper level standing (Business/Economics/Finance/Real Estate major preferred)

• Robust modeling skills with strong quantitative and technical/computer abilities (incl. proficiency in MS Excel, Power point and Word)

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in both Korean and English

• Entrepreneurship, enthusiasm, attitude, integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills are highly required

• Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also able to function effectively as a part of a team

• Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities
