Asia Equities Accounting and Control
The finance product control team in Asia provides full support to the Equity Derivatives business serving traders in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and other Asia-Pac countries.
There are currently 8 team members in Hong Kong and 1 in Tokyo ensuring full front to back reconciliation and substantiation of trading revenues and positions.
The team are also supported by various finance teams in Europe and Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities

Reconciliation of Wash account and Nostro accounts to ensure completeness of trade settlement process

Reconciliation and substantiation of all Equity Derivative accounts/centres to gerenal ledger

Review and validate cost of funding to EDG business

FX trade out
-
End-to-end reconciliation consolidation point

SOX review of all Finance Product control functions

Reporting of key risk indicators

Ownership of attribution and revenue sharing calculation

Liase regularly with Middle Office and Legal Entity Controllers

Provide commentaries on Asia Equities PL and Balance Sheet

Balance Sheet and RWA calculation and review

Review and understand daily Front office PL
Essential Skills / Experience
-
2 to 3 years of work experience, preferably with the Big 4 accounting firms

Strong control mindset

Result-oriented professional who is able to work under pressure and multi-task

Detailed orientated and analytical.

Able to demonstrate good problem solving skills

Team-player with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Education / Professional Qualifications
