About the team and the position
We are looking for Student Analysts to join our Flagship Investment Team in Seoul. You will contribute to developing, structuring, and executing CIP’s investments across APAC and across various assets, including offshore wind, onshore wind, battery energy storage, solar PV and thermal. You will work closely with a highly experienced investment team in a fast-paced dynamic environment. CIP will constantly seek to challenge and inspire you while focusing on your learning and personal development. Top-performing Student Analysts may receive an offer to join us full- time upon graduation.
Your responsibilities
The position is part-time and based in CIP’s Seoul office (on-site). The workload will vary depending on projects requirements, however flexibility will be offered to accommodate university schedules. Key work areas include:
▪ Analysis of potential investment opportunities
▪ Development of presentation materials for portfolio assets and new opportunities
▪ Digest as present key legal considerations for deals and projects
▪ Market analysis and visualisation of information for stakeholders
▪ Working together with industrial partners and advisors
Your qualifications
It is likely the successful candidate will be a penultimate, final year bachelor’s or master’s student majoring in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another relevant field.
Prior internships in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting will also be looked upon favourably. We look for the following in a candidate:
▪ Top academic performance and strong analytical skills
▪ Interest in project/corporate finance and M&A
▪ Native level proficiency in written and spoken English
▪ Strong work ethic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
▪ Thriving with responsibility and displaying attention to detail
▪ Curious and creative mindset with an ability to work independently
▪ Experience in Excel and PowerPoint
▪ At least 2 semesters remaining (incl. currently enrolled semester)
