| 1. Postion : EQ/ CATEGORY Planning Manager (차장급) |
| 2. Mission |
| As a Financial Planning Manager of Nike Sports Korea, you will work as a part of finance planning team focusing on strategic and business planning process (including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance management process) from a financial perspective for assigned businesses. Financial Planning Manager is expected to have ability of progressive narrowing and translating of the company strategic choices into functional and business-unit wide quantitative plans and forecasts on the basis of theoretical financial knowledge, strategic insights, and strong communication leadership. |
| In this opportunity, Equipment Business and Basketball/W’s Training business will be assigned to you. In addition, you will be expected to take a leadership in preparing, developing, and maintaining planning database (which constitutes fundamental base of planning and analysis within finance planning team) and participate in the coordination of month end closing process and ad-hoc reporting deliverable preparation. |
| 3. Job Duties |
| 1) Equipment Business Financial Lead |
| A. Take a leadership in functional discussions and initiatives of Equipment Business across departments (Sales, Merchandising, and Finance) in business planning and analysis from a financial perspective (covering Revenue, Cost, Margin, and Inventory) |
| B. Provide Equipment Business leadership with insightful and financial analysis and interpretation through regular and ad-hoc reporting process. |
| C. Maintain and enhance good partnership with business departments by actively participating in business meeting and offering financial insights. |
| D. Perform multi-dimensional revenue and cost analysis (category business for Equipment point of view) and reporting on a monthly-quarterly-yearly and ad-hoc basis. |
| 2) Category Business Financial Lead |
| A. Manage multi-dimensionally incorporated analysis and reporting process (covering Revenue and Margin from Product Engine point of view and from Category Point of View) and distribute report for Category Business. |
| B. Perform financial analysis that aids in the decision making process for Basketball and Women’s Training Category Business. |
| 3) Planning Database and Financial Reporting Lead |
| A. Take initiative in maintaining and enhancing planning Database Management Package. |
| B. Take responsibility in maintaining and uploading management Income Statement and Balance Sheet. |
| C. Fulfill regular/ad-hoc company-wide reporting requirements. |
| 4. Requirements |
| § Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field. |
| § A minimum of 4~5 year experience in Finance, Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Business Development, or a related field. |
| § Good English writing, communication, and presentation skills. |
| § Be open to and comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate ability of completing multi-tasks under time-pressured environment. |
| § Problem structuring and strategic problem solving skills. |
| § Attention to details in the development of management quality reporting and analytics for senior management. |
| § Proven ability to coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams and provide project management support. |
| § Be familiar with matrix reporting structures. |
| § Ability to manage upward communication to executive leadership teams and management. |
| § Strong proficiency with financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Access. |
| § Experience with SAP (COPA, BW, ECCS) is preferred. |
| § MBA(Full time), CPA, or CMA is a plus. |
