Air Liquide Korea is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. The company was established in Korea in 1996 to provide industrial gases and services to the petrochemical, steel and electronic industries.
Employing more 200 persons, Air Liquide Korea owns and operates production facilities at 14 locations throughout the country and maintains its head office in the Gangnam area of Seoul.
Mission Summary:
The mission is to identify market environment/ opportunities and develop marketing strategy for H2 Energy market in Korea with regular update on the environment and re-evaluation of the strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Build an in-depth understanding of H2 Energy markets through marketing studies, and continuous watch of the market to assess below.
- Market segments, market drivers & environment (statistics, economic, technologies, regulations, politics) and customers’ needs
- Competitors
- Enablers/ competitive advantages over competitors
2. Develop strategies on the various market segments for Korea being in line with AL global strategies.
- Define AL Korea vision for the key markets and identify new opportunities; Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle/Bus, forklift and Hydrogen Refueling Station applications.
- Establish a business model for B2C defining sourcing and supply chain.
- Interact with aB&T, ALJ, H2E BDs/ Engineer, Communication manager and external stakeholders.
3. Monitor the success of the strategies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- During implementation of the strategies, actively support H2E BDs & Project Engineers.
- Re-evaluate the strategies on a regular basis.
Position Requirement :
- University degree in engineering/ business with preference of MBA degree
- Open & critical mindset, curiosity, forward looking
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and to deliver concrete results
- Business-oriented with disruptive mindset
- Networking, good inter-personal skills
- Good presentation skills
