Internship Opportunity at Lazard  

Lazard is one of the world’s preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms, operates from 39 cities across 24 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. With origins dating back to 1848, the firm provides advice on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and capital raising, as well as asset management services to corporations, partnerships, institutions, governments, and individuals.

We are seeking young, talented candidates for our internship position in the Investment Banking Division of Seoul Branch.

Position : Intern (permanent position can be considered depending on the performance)

Period : 3 months (starting from early July, 2009)

Responsibilities :

Assist in performing detailed industry research and gathering financial data
Assist in running valuation models and its peripherals
Develop presentation materials and perform simple financial analysis
Assist in documenting various finance materials in both Korean and English

Qualifications:

Either has already graduated or plan to graduate bachelor or master on fall 2009 (candidates with less than 6 credits before the graduation can also be considered)

Excellent writing skills in both English and Korean
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Basic accounting and finance knowledge
Work ethics, dedication for learning, and professionalism

This will be a great opportunity for those of you who are interested in entering investment Banking as your first career and learn the process of various M&A transactions.
