Job Description
J.P. Morgan Asset Management ("JPMAM") provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide.
It offers the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds.
We are looking for a Client Account Manager to join our Client Services team which will act as the contact to service our Institutional clients.
The Position:
Work independently to onboard and service segregated Institutional clients including negotiating Investment Management Agreements including Investment Restrictions and Guidelines, and other agreements. This will involve working with Legal, Risk and the investment management teams to finalise the agreements.
Liaise with various departments like Client Portfolio managers, Fund managers, Client advisors and Custodians to respond to client enquiries and have them resolved in an expedient manner.
Work with various departments to prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports and presentation materials for clients
Provide support to the Sales team, which may include information research and preparation of pitching materials
Arrange and meet with existing or prospective clients / representatives
Support the client experience and work on client servicing projects
Qualifications
University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline or demonstrate a basic understanding of financial markets and investment products
Solid Client Service experience from Financial Institutions, with fund management background is highly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with client service mind set and able to maintain good clients and internal relationships
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Great attention to details, able to demonstrate maturity and confidence to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Chinese word processing would be an advantage
Other qualifications: HK Securities Institute Paper 1 or readiness to take the exam
