Internship Program
Currently, Carlyle Asia Growth Capital Partner is looking for an Intern for its Seoul office.
The internship period will last for 6 to 9 months ending December 2014. Depending on the candidate’s prior working experience and performance during the internship program, successful the candidate may be considered for Analyst or Associate position from January 2015.
Under the guidance of the Investment Professionals, Intern will have the opportunity to work on deal execution, deal due diligence, market and industry research analysis and financial modeling.
During the internship program, the intern will provide research and analytical support to the team members in the Seoul office, assist in the preparation of presentation and documentation, support initial deal screening including industry and company research and analysis and assist in portfolio management duties.
Candidates will work in a small team environment to support the investment team in all aspects of the investment decision making process and portfolio management. Candidates must be highly motivated and able to work closely with the investment team as well as independently.
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from a top university. MBA candidates and MBA graduates are also encouraged to apply
-2 to 5 years of work experience from investment banking, security house or consulting firms preferred. Candidates with general industry experience will also be considered
-Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Korean
-Strong analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic and extracurricular activities
-Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
-Investment, transaction and operation acumen are key considerations
