Trainee for MARK – Global Markets Division in SG CIB Seoul Office. Job will commence as soon as the successful candidate is identified.

*Position Description

- Department  : MARK/ SOL/COM

-Entity  : SG Securities Korea Co, Ltd (Seoul) or SG Securities (Hong Kong)

-Positions Available: 2

-Position Title   : Trainee

* Principal assignment or reason for existence

 -  As an Trainee of SOL team, SG research distribution with Korean translation (Economics, Strategy, Rates, Commodities)

- Create pitch books analyzing profitability of products through efficient use of quantitative models

* Main responsibilities

-  Supporting the client relationship

1.  Developing sales and marketing material with Senior Sales supervision and guidance.

2.  Assisting Senior Sales in client meetings and marketing.

3.  Providing timely and in-depth research analysis to clients for their investment decisions.

-  Assisting Development of Marketing/Sales

1. Preparing periodical reports to update the recap, market alterations.

2. Keeping up with miscellaneous market issues.

3. Conducting various risk analysis through historical back-testing.

-  Global FI daily recap / Emerging market recap / FX recap (USDKRW, EURUSD, USDJPY ) / Monthly commodity recap 

-Making product proposal

-Other administrative tasks

* Degree of autonomy

Supervised closely by manager, after receiving training on all the major duties, the trainee is expected to become gradually independent and be able to perform numerous tasks alone rapidly

2. Requirements:

*    Graduates

•    Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk

•    Result oriented, determined and able to make dependent decision

•    Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel

•    Fluent English + Korean language

•    Financial instrument knowledge is a plus
